But the tasks will be easier and more productive if we start from an attitude of gratitude towards life, because it connects us to our deepest powers and allows us to recharge there.&#8221;<br\/><\/p><cite>Joanna Macy, eco-philosopher, systems doctor, biologist and creator of The Work that Connects<\/cite><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<div style=\"height:45px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>In these workshops, we strengthen the connection to self, to others and to the rest of nature in order to :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Breaking out of mental blocks linked to the current ecological situation<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Move away from the guilt reflex of &#8220;I&#8217;m not the one who&#8217;s going to change things&#8221; to the desire to contribute to the general momentum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Nurture your inner serenity and preserve your capacity for self-motivation at work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br\/>Each workshop follows the four steps inspired by <a href=\"https:\/\/workthatreconnects.org\/\">Work That Connects<\/a> (WKC):  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Anchoring yourself in gratitude and resources<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sharing what is difficult to live with  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Change your outlook and take a step back  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Move forward and identify your next steps.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:45px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p><strong>Possible organizational formats :<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;<strong>Walk &amp; Reconnect&#8221;: <\/strong>1h30, walking workshop in a natural area<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;<strong>Faire fi ou faire face&#8221; <\/strong>: 0.5 days indoors or outdoors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For the general public, 1 to 3-day formats in the<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/hubdespossibles.org\/en\/agenda\/\"><strong>Hub des possibles agenda<\/strong><\/a><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:45px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>This group process aims to :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Strengthening emotional resilience: &#8220;Work That Connects&#8221; offers tools for managing emotions linked to ecological and social challenges, including anxiety.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Activate the circulation of positive energy: participants are invited to mobilize all their resources to regain a sense of mastery in the face of complex environmental challenges.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Encourage connection with yourself, especially your own emotions.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enriching social connection: Group activities and discussions help strengthen social ties, which can help reduce isolation and reinforce feelings of support.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developing a connection with nature: this is a time of different contact with nature, encouraging you to feel your place in the biosphere.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><br\/><\/strong>Our theory of change: by facilitating connection workshops, we aim to strengthen the link with oneself, others and the rest of the Living World in order to increase the power to act for a society that supports life as an absolute priority.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These connection workshops help strengthen what we call the inner compass, presence, long-term vision, connectivity and optimism.
