At the beginning of March, the great ballet of spring is about to unfold, and yet only the beginnings are visible. In this workshop, we’ll open our eyes and perceptions to our inner sprouts. We’ll be attentive to the beauties in our lives and our environment, like the little flowers of spring that we can make bloom. We’ll also dare to look at our suffering in the midst of a world in danger.

Mars is the symbol of energy, action, initiative and courage. It gives us the impetus to move forward with our intentions and chosen objectives at the start of the year: it’s a time for progress, a time to look to the future and set our projects in motion.

The theme of this workshop will therefore be to welcome what emerges and to move forward, echoing Joanna Macy’s book “Hope in Motion”. It follows the Work That Relates (WLR) spiral process, which she also modeled. To this are added techniques from Methods of Action (Moreno) and exercises from Theory U (Scharmer). It’s all about lightening what’s heavy inside us, when we think about climate challenges and the degradation of our environment, to activate our faculty of wonder and grow our potential for action.

We’ll follow the 4 stages of Work That Binds:

  • Expressing gratitude
  • Honoring your pain
  • Change your outlook
  • Moving forward

The exercises and rituals proposed are performed in groups, in duets or solo, indoors and outdoors, as often as possible. They mobilize the body, the senses, the emotions and the intellect. They require no special knowledge or prerequisites.

** Testimony of a participant**:

“The Work That Binds over these 2 days enabled me to reconnect with my deepest inner self, to feel more and more in touch with Nature and all the participants throughout the 4 stages proposed, and to do so in unexpected and surprising ways. I enjoyed the workshops, which were very varied and adapted, with a little theory and a lot of practice.

I found the venue just splendid. The conviviality of the meals shared and prepared together created a warm atmosphere beneficial to the process. And I enjoyed myself!

Annick and Emmanuelle, the facilitators, made a superb, well-balanced pair, and showed themselves to be caring, sensitive and genuine listeners. The organization was just impeccable.

All these elements came together to give me a boost of energy and motivation to heal the Earth. I felt very much alive at the end and filled with gratitude for all that had been experienced.”

I am co-founder of Hub des possibles, coach, facilitator and training manager in the Lausanne region. I accompany managers to help them consciously activate their humanity in today’s learning organizations.Facilitating Work That Relates (WLR) is my way of contributing to today’s ecological and societal transition. Faced with the complexity and urgency of today’s challenges, I feel the need to change my pace, to connect with others and with nature. TQR and other collective intelligence practices help me to recharge my batteries and nurture my inner stability.

I work as a psychologist-psychotherapist in France. Very interested in everything to do with ecopsychology and inner transition, I discovered Work That Connects (WQC) a few years ago by chance in my reading, and since 2021 I’ve had the good fortune and joy of being able to lead WQC workshops. At the same time, I’m interested in new ways of living in this world and am involved in the co-creation of a participative habitat. I’m looking forward to co-facilitating this process, and to living a new TQR experience in all fraternity/sorority, in a corner of preserved nature that is dear to my heart.
