Robustness: from concept to practice

A one-day training course to understand how to operationalize the principles of robustness, developed by Olivier Hamant, in your company or organization.

You are looking for

new ways of securing your company’s future in an uncertain environment?

Between the geopolitical and economic context and the vagaries of the climate, it’s difficult to make reliable forecasts and projections today. If our companies and organizations are to absorb this instability, a new way of thinking is needed. This is what we propose to work on in this training course, which focuses on the notion of robustness.

Robustness is precisely the ability of a system to remain viable over the long term in an environment subject to intense fluctuations and/or scarcity of resources. So how do you put it into practice? How can you make your company robust?

You are

  • If you are a member of the management of a company or organization (including associations and foundations), a team leader, project manager or employee, and would like to participate as an individual ;
  • Several members of your company’s management, from the same team or the same company, and wish to participate collectively;

At the end of the day :

  • You understand how robustness can be implemented
  • You have the keys to a robust approach to problem-solving
  • You have defined the first steps on how to deploy robustness in your organization

Contents:
During this action-training workshop, you will work directly on a problem in your organization.

The day will be divided into different parts: theoretical content on robust work, practical application to your own problems, and time for sharing.

Theoretical input and practical application will focus on the following 2 areas:

  • Analyze the organization’s reality in order to identify its weaknesses and dependencies = DIAGNOSE AND PRIORITIZE RISKS

Before taking any action, we need to develop a clear understanding of the company’s reality. The aim of this stage is to highlight any weaknesses that could compromise the company’s ability to adapt.

  • Treat the risks linked to these fragilities with a robust protocol, designed for the long term rather than for short-term returns = MAKE ROBUSTNESS THE KEY ISSUE

Come and experience a day where you can try out some of the principles of robustness: slowing down, encouraging rich interactions and promoting heterogeneity and diversity of viewpoints.
