Our ways of telling the world are never neutral: they shape our view of nature, ourselves and the future. Some stories emphasize collapse and loss, others technical progress. These stories have a profound influence on our relationship with living things.
This round table, organized by WWF Youth and les écotopiales, in partnership with Hub des possibles, will explore the role of narratives: how do our imaginations shape our ability to care for the planet and living things? What stories do we need to question, transform or invent to open up fairer, more sustainable paths for the future?
A table moderated by Chantal Peyer, from Hub des possibles, with..:
- Céline Cerny, cultural mediator, author and storyteller
- Guido Palazzo, Professor of Ethics at the HEC Faculty, University of Lausanne
- Agnieszka Soltysikmonnet, professor of American culture and literature at Lausanne University
