Podcast “2040 I’m going!” #16 – mental health and the living connection

We often think we have to take care of nature. But what if it's actually nature that's taking care of us? In this podcast, we explore reconnecting with the living through work that connects, and its impact on our mental health. An episode with Annick Wagner from Hub des possibles, Cynthia Illi from HEKS TransformAction Lab and Chantal Martin Sölch Professor of Clinical Psychology at the University of Fribourg.

What do you marvel at most in nature: a mountain landscape, the reflection of the sun on a lake, or the morning dew on a blade of grass?

And when was the last time you felt that sense of wonder?

If you think back, during that moment you probably felt joy, serenity or even gratitude. Perhaps time even stood still, as if shy of such beauty ….

In this episode of the “2040 I’m going!” podcast, we explore our relationship with nature and the impact it has on our psyche.

To do this, you will meet :

  • Annick Wagner, co-founder of Hub des possibles, and Cynthia Illi, Facilitator at HEKS’ TransformAction Lab, two practitioners of connecting work in French-speaking Switzerland.
  • Chantal Martin Sölch, Professor of Clinical and Health Psychology at the University of Fribourg. She will talk about emotions and the impact of nature on our mental health.

Finally, we’ll end with a trip to the year 2040, a future in which plants will have reclaimed their rights, and company meetings will be held under trees.

Welcome to a new episode of the Podcast, “2040, I’m going!”

Boris Siegenthaler, founder of Infomaniak, and Stépahne Lecorney, associate professor at HEIG-VD, take us on a (more) responsible digital journey.
