2040, I’m going!” conference with Léa Falco

In October 2024, we welcomed writer Léa Falco. Our local guests were Cornelis Neet, then Director General of the Environment for the Canton of Vaud, and Christophe Barman, Co-President of the Swiss Business Federation.

The “2040, j’y vais!” conferences are interactive and co-organized by Hub des possibles, the booksellers Payotbooksellers, the Vidy-Lausanne and the Alumnil network.

The “2040, j’y vais!” conferences help to create spaces for dialogue and encounters between authors and the general public, in order to cultivate a posture of lucid optimism.

The aim is to enable citizens and readers to :

to better understand today’s challenges
connect with their emotions and open up their imaginations
explore possible futures and be inspired by stories that reinforce hope and stimulate action.
