Imagine you’re in the year 2030, and you and your team have achieved the very best in human, ecological, entrepreneurial and organizational terms. What would your reality be like?
The future travel method, sometimes also called uchrony, enables you to bring out your team’s individual and collective ambition. It’s a powerful method for bringing out your desirable future, and thinking about what you want to achieve, before discussing how you’re going to make it happen. In this exercise, each member of your team is taken seriously in terms of his or her skills, ambitions and impulses. And listening to these different stories enables you to see the most impactful potential in your teams, and to mobilize it. But also to identify the needs of your employees.
This process is designed to help you walk away with it:
- a clearer understanding of what motivates your teams
- a shared vision of an inspiring future
- a shared drive and motivation
- greater courage to act
In terms of methodology, we use foresight and imagination tools, including:
- principles of deep listening
- hunting down preconceived ideas
- visualization and future travel
- tree of the future
- building a story
At Hub des possibles, we’re convinced that, in the face of the ecological, economic, social and even human crises we’re going through, it’s important to stop and nourish your momentum, your leadership and that of your teams. It’s a time to pause, a time to reinforce the courage to act in a period marked by uncertainty and difficulty. It’s not about resilience, but rather the ability to move forward with joy and clarity in the midst of challenges.
In-company or in-organization format possible:
- “Boost your vision”: 1/2 day
- “Boost your vision and strengthen your ability to act”: 1 day
The workshop can also be integrated into a more comprehensive strategic coaching process.
