Why a Lab of the Future?
In a world undergoing rapid transformation – technological, geopolitical, ecological, social – it is becoming difficult to manage an organization with yesterday’s certainties.
Organizations, companies and communities have to cope with unpredictable changes, new expectations and profound transitions. They have to cope with disruptions and uncertainties.
The Futures Lab is a response to this complexity: a collective space where we take the time to imagine possible futures, so we can make better decisions in the present.
🔭 What is a Lab of the Future?
It’s an immersive, collaborative workshop that brings together your team – or a group of decision-makers, experts and players in the field – around a key question: “What if…?”
By mobilizing the tools of foresight, design and collective intelligence, the Lab makes it possible to:
- Explore emerging trends and their possible impacts;
- Exploring weak signals and their potential for the future
- Build projections of different and inspiring futures;
- Making obsolete futures visible, today’s solutions that no longer meet tomorrow’s challenges
- Transform these visions into concrete courses of action
- Strengthen your leadership, enthusiasm and momentum for change
- Strengthen the cohesion of your teams and their action towards a desirable future
Le Lab des futurs is not a training course. It’s an exploration and an experience – a moment when we change our outlook, when we allow ourselves to think differently. A space in which the uncertain future can once again become a space of enthusiasm and desirable futures.
In terms of methodology, we mobilize the classic tools of foresight, such as..:
- the hunt for preconceived ideas
- analysis of the forces driving change (current trends, weak signals for the future, etc.).
- break-up hypotheses (what if…)
- prospective scenarios and the representation of your organization’s or company’s life in these futures
- work on the emotions aroused by these different possible futures
Our aim is to help you ask the questions that bother you, and those that inspire your teams, with kindness and clarity. What do you want to contribute as a company and organization? What’s the next step that will make your project more robust and sustainable?
