The construction industry in Switzerland is facing growing challenges related to the availability and sustainability of materials.
Against a backdrop of a gradual shortage of aggregates, extraction constraints, and rising logistics costs, dependence on virgin raw materials is becoming an economic risk.
In addition, Switzerland is strengthening its legal framework for sustainability. The industry is organizing itself through initiatives such as the Net Zero 2050 Roadmap and the growing influence of players in recycling and circular concrete. However, dependence on virgin resources remains high, and circularity is becoming a strategic issue.
- How can you adapt your business strategy in the face of rising costs and material shortages?
- How can you incorporate circularity and reuse into your business model?
- How can we anticipate regulatory constraints and turn them into a strategic advantage?
Your company’s ability to answer these questions will determine its resilience and competitiveness in the years ahead. This training will help you prepare for these changes.
What are you leaving with?
At the end of these two half-day sessions on the materials and business models of the future, you’ll walk away with an understanding of—and a strategy for—the following:
- materials or business models that will become obsolete
- the materials, regulatory trends, and business models that will be prioritized in the future
- strategic challenges to be addressed (costs, regulations, human resources, supply chains, productivity).
- The three to five strategic action areas to prepare your company and teams for the realities of tomorrow (investments, HR/training, partnerships, innovations).
How?
The topic is covered in two half-day workshops (4:00), held one month apart to allow time to reflect, share, and refine the analysis internally, and to return with questions.
The first half-day session will take place on January 29, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The second half-day session will take place on February 26, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
