An ant, a lynx or a tree can be extraordinarily subtle and inventive. And to learn to look at them is to reconnect with a form of joy and magic in the face of life’s complexity.
So what if one of the main reasons for our disconnection from the living world is the loss of our ability to marvel?
In this new episode of the podcast “2040 j’y vais!”, we invite you on a journey of wonder in the company of two exceptional hosts:
- Julien Perrot, a local adventurer, has been passing on his love of nature through the magazine “La Salamandre” for over forty years. This May, he publishes his first book, “Une vie pour la nature”, in which he recounts his encounters with the animals of our land.
- Blaise Mulhauser, biologist, ecologist and Director of the Neuchâtel Botanical Garden, suggests we decentralize our gaze and consider that we are just one species among many. It’s a new way of looking at things that could potentially transform the way we inhabit the world. An analysis he developed in his book “le continuum du vivant”, published in 2024 by éditions épistémé.
Welcome to a new episode of the podcast “2040 j’y vais!”, devoted to the place of humans in the living world.
